Cycling Stamps

Stamps are little works of art and while I’m not a collector (there was a brief flirtation with philately as a child but enthusiasm waned once I had a collection of not much else other than about 70 British second class stamps) I do enjoy the occasional glance at themed collections. Thanks to the internet viewing stamps from around the world is now easy to do. Here’s a fair sample of cycling related stamps that have caught my eye while browsing.

    They stamps become rarer and rarer as people use email more heavily..

    Stamp designs are a real art treasure these days. I’m sure Canada must have 1-2 cycling stamp designs…

    Pan-American Games will be in Toronto this summer. Sadly I wonder if there would be a stamp especially for that event.
